Crock Pot BBQ Sloppy Joes

I've never been a huge fan of Sloppy Joes until years after I got married and realized there is way more to a sloppy joe than a can (yuck) of sloppy joe sauce. I started experimenting with ingredients and got creative. Now I have made quite a few variations of the traditional Sloppy Joe and this is one of my husband's favorites. It's so good even a non sloppy joe eater will fall in love with this tasty sandwich. Trust me, I did, and it's now one of my favorite quick go to recipes!

Crock Pot BBQ Sloppy Joes
Serves 4

Ingredients
16 oz lean ground beef or turkey
1/2 cup beef broth
1 pkg. lipton onion soup mix
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
1 cup BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Brown your ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain and place in crock pot. Add in the remaining ingredients. Stir. Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours. Spoon onto rolls and enjoy!

  1. I always thought Sloppy Joes was a kid food, but then I had one with cole slaw and suddenly I thought it grownup food. My mouth is watering.
