I need a meal with some spice to warm me up! It is beyond COLD around here. Downright frigid. It really is crazy considering it's only mid November and the temperature is in the 20's! I've always enjoyed Salsa Chicken but throwing cheese into the mix made me enjoy it even more. What's not to love about ooey gooey cheese topped over chicken? Yummy!
Cheesy Salsa Crock Pot Chicken
Cal 230, Carbs 9.5, Fat 7.7, Protein 31.7
16 oz. boneless skinless chicken
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1 jar salsa
1.25 cups reduced fat shredded mexican blend cheese
Arrange chicken in bottom of crock pot. Season with garlic and chili powder. Top with salsa and cheese. Cover and cook on low 4 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. Enjoy!
