Spicy Sausage Rigatoni



This is another great weeknight dish when you don't feel like spending a ton of time in the kitchen at the end of the day. I know I certainly wanted something simple to make after my crazy day and this was the perfect dinner!


Spicy Sausage Rigatoni
Serves 8
WW PP=10
Cal 352, Carbs 51, Fat 9.7, Fiber 3, Protein 18.7

Ingredients
1 16oz. box rigatoni, cooked to al dente
1 14 oz. package hot Italian sausage (I used Italian chicken sausage)
1 cup reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (you can adjust this to your liking)
1 tbsp. garlic powder
2 cups marinara sauce
grated Parmesan cheese, optional for topping

In a large saucepan brown sausage. Add in the sauce, red pepper flakes, and garlic powder. Toss in the pasta and top with shredded cheese.

Broil for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with grated Parmesan if desired. Enjoy!
