Crunchy Chili Cheese Casserole



I'm constantly searching for new ww friendly meals but some days (like today) I've just got to say to heck with the diet and eat something that I consider sinfully delicious! Chili, Cheese, and Fritos. Three of my favorites baked into one tasty casserole. This was insanely good. Yes, I'm carrying on about this casserole but it was well worth taking a day off from my diet! This casserole is very filling and makes the prefect freezer meal as well. If you love Chili, Cheese, and Fritos as much as I do then you will have to give this recipe a try!

Crunchy Chili Cheese Casserole
Serves 6

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef (I used 93/7)
1 16oz can pinto beans
1 8oz can tomato sauce
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 1/2 cups Fritos
1 1/4 cups sour cream

In a large saucepan brown ground beef.  Drain and return to pan, and stir in the beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Sprinkle 1 cup of the Fritos on the bottom of a greased baking baking dish. Top with meat mixture and 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese.

Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes and remove from oven. Spread sour cream over the meat mixture and top with the remaining Fritos and cheese.

Return to oven and bake for another 4-5 minutes. Remove from oven and enjoy!
