Healthier Buffalo Wild Wings Chips with Cheddar



One of my favorite wing restaurants is Buffalo Wild Wings. Whenever we go there we always get their Buffalo Chips with Cheddar along with our wings. They are so addicting but obviously in no way healthy. (Probably one of the reasons why they are so good) I decided to try and re-create them at home by baking them instead of deep frying and I used reduced fat cheese. They were really really good. My husband loved them just as much as I did. I'll be making these again soon!

Healthier Buffalo Wild Wings Chips with Cheddar

Ingredients
4 russet potatoes cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
1 tbsp canola oil
1 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese
1 tbsp cajun seasoning

In a 13x9 baking dish combine potatoes with oil and cajun seasoning. Bake at 425 for 30 minutes. Flip potatoes and cook an additional 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are nicely browned and tender. Remove from oven and top with shredded cheddar. Return to oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Enjoy!

  4. Not sure, since I don't deep fry. I do know that soaking the potatoes in water before baking can making them crispier since it removes some of the starch so I would think the same with deep frying.
