Since I had so many leftover wonton wrappers from last nights dinner I decided to make another meal using them. I recently made cheeseburger flatbread melts which were delicious so I incorporated some of those ingredients into this recipe. They turned out great and would work well as an appetizer too!
1 lb lean ground beef, browned and drained
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (separated)
24 wonton wrappers
Brown and drain ground beef. Add water, vinegar, worcestershire, ketchup, mustard, 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, and garlic. Stir to combine and simmer over low heat. Meanwhile, spray muffin cups with cooking spray. Place one wonton wrapper in each cup. Add meat mixture. Top with additional cheese and then top with another wonton wrapper. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
